Distribution

 

 

 

 

STATUS: Uncommon. Even though phenotypically intermediate between micale and aexone, characters of this taxon are regarded as constant by Parsons (1998: 392) calling it a “fairly distinctive species”.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Numfor Island; Mioswaar Island; Rumberpon [Amberfron?] Island; New Guinea: Nabire. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Batjan, Papua New Guinea.
