Distribution

 

 

 

 

STATUS: Widely distributed, a rare species in Papua. In New Guinea the nominate race occurs.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Waigeo Island; Japen Island; Biak Island; Numfor Island; New Guinea: Arfak Mts., Mimika, Sorong. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: ssp. rileyi Joicey & Talbot, 1922: Seram; ssp. susyae Tennent & Rawlins, 2010: Bacan, Morotai; ssp. chamaeleona: Papua New Guinea.
