STATUS: This rare subspecies is endemic on the Schouten Islands.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Biak Island; Numfor Island. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: The species ranges throughout the Indo-Australian region, including Papua New Guinea.
