STATUS: Only known from the type series. Parsons (1989: 358) also expects a distribution of H. calliphon in the West Sepik Province adjacent to the West Papuan border.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: New Guinea: Humboldt Bay. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Papua New Guinea (?).
