STATUS: In Indonesian New Guinea represented by two endemic subspecies. Both are rare

PAPUA LOCALITIES: ssp. ribbei: New Guinea: Cyclops Mts., Dorey (Manokwari), Kaimana, Kapaur (Fakfak), Sekar ; ssp. pratti: New Guinea: Wandammen Peninsula, Wendesi. Details in gazetteer.
