Distribution

 

 

 

 

STATUS: A common species. According to Parsons (1998) it is most likely that kapaura is a subspecies of Philiris dinawa (Bethune-Baker, 1908) as genitalic structures and adults are very similar.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: New Guinea: Arfak Mts., Fakfak, Sorong, Timika. Details in gazetteer.
