STATUS: An endemic species in the Central Mountains of Papua. Represented by three subspecies.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: ssp. walshae: Pass Valley; ssp. Ilu: Ilu, Mulia, Sinak; ssp. sanaeae: Makki. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: none.
