Distribution

 

 

 

 

 

STATUS: A widely distributed species in New Guinea with at least six recognized subspecies in Papua but probably some more. The black stars on the map indicate localities of subspecies yet undescribed.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: ssp. ennia: Waigeo Island; ssp. mysolensis: Misool Island; ssp. iere: Numfor Island; ssp. multicolor: Biak Island: ssp. jobiana: Japen Island; ssp. oetakwensis: Utakwa; undefined ssp.: Borme, Epomani, Homeyo, Jayapura, Karubaga, Kobakma, Landikma, Sombule, Wamena. EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Papua New Guinea.
