Distribution

 

 

 

STATUS: A common species. It is found in lowland and mountainous areas.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Biak: Marauw; Supiori: Korido, Nansfori; New Guinea: Ampas, Asike, Demaisi, Dotir, Fakfak, Genyem, Jayapura, Lereh, Mabilabol, Manokwari, Manunggal (nr Abmisibil), Nimbokrang, Pass Valley, Sentani, Taja Rifi, Sorong, Ubrub, Uskwar, Walmak (Nipsan), Wambes, Wasior. EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Widely distributed from Java to the Solomon Islands with some subspecies.
