STATUS: A very conspicuous and rather rare species, widely distributed on New Guinea.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: New Guinea: Ampas, Furu Camp (Dabre-Mamberano), Kwau (Arfak Mts), Nomnagihé. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Papua New Guinea.
