Distribution

 

 

 

 

 

STATUS: Widely distributed in New Guinea but rare. The species is distinguished by the very small white claviform marking on the submarginal transverse, in most other Cascera species, like the similar bella, this conspicuous claviform marking is much larger.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Yapen Island; New Guinea: Arfak Mts, Baliem Valley, Cyclop Mts, Nabire, Senopi, Sibil, Uskwar, Wandammen Peninsula, Wangaar. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Papua New Guinea.
