Distribution

 

 

 

 

STATUS: A species with a peculiar distribution. This endemic species for Indonesian New Guinea is represented by four subspecies, which in the Kobowre Mountains are isolated by separate river systems in a relatively small area.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: ssp. albertisi: Irai, Hing; ssp. albiplaga: Menoo Valley, Timeepa; ssp. tamamitsui: Mogo-Mogo, Obano; ssp. putih: Degeodagi, Moanemani, Modio . Details in gazetteer.
