STATUS: Widely distributed in New Guinea with four subspecies in the Indonesian part.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: ssp. discus: Fakfak, Uapa-Topo; ssp. larseni: Setakwa River; ssp. apodiscus: Borme, Kobakma, Sumbole; ssp. discoides: Sentani . Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Papua New Guinea.
