Distribution

 

 

 

 

 

STATUS: A widely distributed species in the New Guinea area with several subspecies. In Papua this species is represented by four subspecies.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: ssp. gabia: Waigeo Island; New Guinea: Senopi, Sorong; ssp. aurantimacula: New Guinea: Modio, Nabire, Uapa-Topo; ssp. felsina: New Guinea: Borme, Karubaga, Kobakma, Landikma, Okbibab, Sumbole, Timika; ssp. marinda: New Guinea: Merauke. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Papua New Guinea.
