STATUS: This species is in New Guinea represented with six subspecies of which four are restricted to Papua.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: New Guinea: ssp. kaloni: Tembagapura; ssp. adnexa: Ilu, Kobakma, Mulia, Sinak, Tiom; ssp. amoena: Lake Habbema, Ibele Valley, Korupun, Ninya, Pass Valley, Sumbole, Walmak, Welesi; ssp. hapalina: Abmisibil, Batimban, Mt. Goliath, Langda. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Papua New Guinea.
